Overview
Once you are logged in to Navys, you will land on the main dashboard. What you see depends on three factors: your organization type (Investment Firm, Law Firm, or Administrator Firm), your system role (Admin or User), and your subscription status (Subscriber or Non-Subscriber).
For a detailed breakdown of roles and permissions, see Understanding Roles on the Navys Transfer Platform.
The platform is organized into two main navigation areas: the left sidebar, which provides access to the primary sections of the platform, and the top-right profile dropdown, which provides access to your personal and organization settings.
Left Sidebar
The left sidebar contains the primary navigation for the platform. The sections visible to you depend on your subscription status.
Transfers: Visible to all users regardless of organization type or subscription status. This is the main landing page after login. It displays a table of all transfers you are involved in, along with key details such as the fund, vehicle, transferor, transferee, your role in the transfer, and the transfer status (Active, On Hold, Closed, or Aborted).
Funds: Visible only to Investment Firm users with an active subscription. This section allows you to view and manage the firm's different funds. Law Firms and Administrator Firms do not see this item in the sidebar at all.
1. Transfers
The Transfers page is the primary view for all users on the platform. It displays a table of transfers with the following columns:
Transfer ID, Client, Fund, Vehicle, Transferor, Transferee, Role in Transfer, and Status.
The data you see on this page depends on your system role and subscription status:
Subscriber Admins: See all transfers across their organization (firm-wide view), including historical transfers that have been closed or aborted. Admins also see analytics cards at the top of the page showing the number of active and closed transfers. Investment Firm Admins will additionally see PTP (Publicly Traded Partnership) compliance monitoring by vehicle once this feature is launched on the platform.
Subscriber Users: See only transfers they are personally involved in as a participant. Users do not see firm-wide data or analytics cards.
Non-Subscribers: See only their active transfers. Historical transfers (closed and aborted) and analytics are not available to non-subscribers. Non-subscribers can still fully participate in any transfer they have been invited to.
Clicking a row in the transfers table will open the Transfer Overview for that specific transfer. For a detailed explanation on this, see: Individual Transfer Overview
2. Funds
The Funds page is only available to Investment Firm users with an active subscription.
What you see on the Funds page depends on your system role:
Admins: See a firm-wide view of all funds in the organization. Two metric cards are displayed at the top of the page showing Total Funds and Total Investors across the portfolio. Admins also see an "Add New Fund" button to create new funds. Each fund is represented as a card showing:
the fund name
investment strategy
vintage year
number of investors
total commitments
counts of active and closed transfers
Users: See only the funds associated with transfers they are participating in. The firm-wide metric cards and the "Add New Fund" button are not visible to Users.
Clicking a fund card takes you to the Single Fund Overview, where you can view detailed fund information, manage vehicles, view the investor registry, and manage fund-level documents and templates. For a closer look at the Single Fund Overview please see: Single Fund Overview
Profile Dropdown
The top-right profile dropdown provides access to your personal and organization-level settings.
Organization Settings: Available to Admins only. This section allows you to manage your organization profile (name, logo, and details), view and manage team members, invite new colleagues, and configure organization-level settings. Non-subscriber organizations see an upgrade prompt when attempting to access user management features such as inviting colleagues.
Profile Settings: Available to all users. This section allows you to update your personal details, notification preferences, and security settings.
