The Navys Carry platform is how you manage carried interest on the Navys platform — the General Partner's performance-based share of fund profits and the way it is allocated to individual team members.
It replaces the spreadsheets that GPs typically use to track carry allocations, capital accounts, valuations, and vesting. Everything sits inside the same Navys platform already used for LP transfers, with a dashboard for the GP/administrator and a separate "My Position" dashboard for each carry holder.
Who this feature is for
Carry on Navys is designed for two groups of users:
GP administrators managing one or more carry vehicles — adding holders, recording valuations, issuing capital calls, and tracking allocations across funds.
Carry holders — the individuals within an organization who want a clear, accurate view of their own position.
Each group sees a tailored view. Administrators have visibility across all holders and funds. Holders only see their own carry position.
What you can do today
Today the Carry platform allows for the following:
Creating and configuring carry vehicles
Adding carry holders and recording their allocations
Recording quarterly fund valuations
Issuing drawdowns and tracking drawdown notices
Uploading and storing carry documents
A full GP/admin dashboard with three sub-tabs — Dashboard, Holders & Allocations, and Documents
A holder-side dashboard with four sub-tabs — Overview, Vesting, Activity, and Documents
What's coming next
The next release will add the vesting engine, leaver classification, and carry transfers between holders. You will see "Coming Soon" placeholders in some parts of the product today — most notably on the Vesting tab, the Activity tab, and the Total Vested / Total Unvested stat cards — that preview what will be available once these features are released.
A third release will bring external integrations (for example, automated NAV pulls and e-signature integrations such as DocuSign).
